OLIO EXTRAVERGINE D'OLIVA
In Romagna the presence of the olive seems to go back historically to the area that goes from Rimini to Forli: in fact this is the point of demarcation between the Po Valley and the Mediterranean, typical zone of the olive tree.
This experienced region has so strong roots in the culture of the olive tree that passed alive the fall of the Roman Empire and the barbarian invasions.
As a matter of fact, in a founded scroll of the year 892 d.C. talking abount Cesena area, it is written a list of goods among which are also appointed some olive groves.
Today, the olive tree is still a very important crop in the hills of Romagna and the result is a production of excellent olive oil, fine and fruity.
A very good reason to consume the oil of our hills is to appreciate the nuances coming from the different land plant, exhibitions, production methods and processing of each company.
