FORTEZZA MEDIEVALE CASTROCARO TERME

The fortress is open to the public all year round, timetable available on the website. You can visit:Torre delle Segrete e dei Tormenti (Dungeons and torments tower), Cortile delle Armi (Arms Courtyard), the court with seventeenth century olive tree, Grotte Trogloditiche (Troglodyte Caves), Spalti delle Bombarde (Bombarde terrace), Church of St. Barbara, Palazzo del Castellano (Lord of Castle Palace). Here you can see the Castle Museum (majolicas, arms, paintings, ancient furnitures) and the cellar of the Wine and Dine Route of Forlì-Cesena.
Lots of events take place in the fortress: musical concerts (summer), medieval festivals (July), night of all Saints (31^st October), Flavors of Romagna (November). Available for weddings, meetings and conferences.
