CULTURALE ASSOCIATION PRO RUBICONE - Calisese

Founded in 1991, the association has over 200 members. The headquarters, a Calisese of Cesena, is next to the ancient parish church of San Martino in Rubicon (IX sec.).

The association has as its purpose the scientific research on the identification of the "true" Rubicon, the historic river crossed by Julius Caesar. It also promotes the development of cultural, environmental, socio-economic aspects of the area through various initiatives.

Over 20 book publications.
Every year it organizes "Diletto Dialettando",third Sunday of January; the country festival "lle sorgenti del Rubicone Urgòn", first Sunday of September and the competition of poetry and fiction-themed rustic bucolic, in Italian and dialect (deadline August 20).

Presentation and information of historical, geographical, enogastronomicol, artistic aspects of the territory and of the towns in the valley of the Rubicon-Urgon.
The meetings are held at the headquarters of the Association. Oportunity to consult and buy at discounted prices specific publications on the territory.
