TENUTA MONTAIA - Cesena

The estate, located on the first hills of Cesena in the locality of Madonna dell’Ulivo, is the mirror of love for the land and its fruits. The working philosophy of the winery is aiming at respecting and valueing the identity of the place.
Massimo Golinelli, dynamic winemaker from Emilia, began his work in the 90s with the transfer in Romagna to realize a dream: to build and work in a high-quality cellar, where to produce wine with passion and dedication.
A passion that was inside him as a boy, when his father explained him the vine’s cultivation methods.
 The parents ran a small farm producing wine that was sold in bulk.
Commitment, determination, curiosity, care, first in the vineyard and then in the cellar, are the elements that drive Massimo, with his wife Monica, in the long way towards quality.
With the other 2 members Guido and Luigi, managers for Italian and foreign trade, Max and Monica have embarked on an adventure made of work, dedication and great satisfactions. The ambition that drives this working group is to produce quality wines that speak and represent the territory of Cesena. An area facing the sea, that has always been suited for olive and wine’s production.
